ok a little brain teaser for those who like these fare challenges

I have
3 amex EC-PE vouchers
1 companion voucher
15600 miles
19800 flying COMPNAY miles

need to get wifey MCO-MAN in early May next year
she will be flying with her Aunt (who could pay whole ticket unless I can use anything to help her).

they have to travel together in the same class

so on the MCO-MAN leg I would prefer to try and get her in PE
on the return its EC as her mum will also be with them

any thoughts ?
I think best option may be a combi fare using miles out and pay return ...could I then use the upgrade vouchers ??

TIA

If the miles were more, I'd suggest EC rewards for all three then use all 3 upgrade vouchers (as they good for a return journey). May be worth a call to see if can be used with Flying company miles. My basic math is the mileage is enough for ECO rewards upgraded to PE with vouchers on the PE account if they let you use the Company miles.

If you are flexible with dates, there may be availability for 3 at once. When I checked PE in Feb about 2 months ago from LGW at least there were plenty (well at least 2, which I needed) of PE rewards available both ways, ditto EC. My dates didn't need to be too flexible as there were at least 1/2 flights a week with availability. Use Virgins's availability checker to check the PE seats availability prior to calling them though.

I'm confused, isn't the cost of an economy return from MCO to MAN 42.5K?

Which makes the total price for three economy reward returns as 127.5K Miles plus around 900 quid taxes, upgrade them with the vouchers+about 300 quid, and all three are going PE for a total of 127.5K miles and 1200 quid?
