Little red is a great service, BUT the lounge in terminal 1 is just soul destroying. No windows and tired looking furniture. Even the check in agent agreed!

Longing for the T3 clubhouse right now.

Go through and sit by the domestic gates, that's a much much better experience, certainly better than that lounge.

If the rumours about the lounge they'll use in T2 after next year's move are true, things will improve dramatically :)

Do we have a date in 2014 for the move?

Ah yes......totally agree the Servisair lounge at T1 is basic. Like others, I much prefer the area by Costa coffee too watching the coming and goings.....wouldn't be great to be offered a Costa voucher or lounge invite....... ):

I've heard too that the LR flights will use the Aer Lingus lounge after the terminal switch but its not finalised yet so is subject to change. It would all make sense to be honest, with the contract VS has with EI.

Any idea on likely entry requirements / restrictions to this lounge.

Looks like they'll definitely be using the Aer Lingus lounge in T2 - on the proving trials last week Little Red dummy passengers were being sent there.

It's still a building site and not yet fitted out but peeking over the hoardings it looked quite spacious with good apron/runway views so in that respect miles better than the T1 lounge.

As for entry - there's no reason to suspect it won't be the same as all the other VS lounges - Au & UC.
