Hello

Just wondering if anyone can clear this up for me.

Travelling on VS006 from MIA - LHR on 12th of April.

If I look in the manage my booking section of the website the aircraft is showing as A340-600

However if I book the flight as a new passenger its showing as a 747

Anyone any ideas which aircraft the flight is operated on?

Thanks
ZJC

ZJC, I've just checked on expertflyer and currently a 744 is rostered for this date. The flight is just about sold out in Y too.

Hope that helps. Not sure why a 346 should be visible in your booking, though as always, these things can change :)

horburyflyer,

Thanks for coming back to me, rather confusing how the manage my booking page is showing a different aircraft.

It must be a mistake somewhere along the line!

Nearly full in Y, do you happen to know what the loads are link in the other two classes?

Im hoping to bag an ugprade 24hrs prior to flight as I cannot upgrade my fare at present (Its a cruise line booking)

Thanks
ZJC

If it's nearly full in Y, there is possibility of op-ups uplifts for frequent flyers. If you have status with Virgin, you may wish to consider this. Of course it's only happened to me once in 10 years, but on a busy route people from work take, it does happen frequently.
