Hello from the LHR Clubhouse

Just a quick hello from the CH before my flight to JNB and then on to Durban. Had a nice meal and very good service from the CH staff
The check in staff let me take a guest into the CH who is not flying in UC whigh I
thought was odd as I have Ag status rather han Au. Either way my travelling buddy is having a great time and getting her nails done while I hit the Lanson. Well done so far Virgin Atlantic!

Anyone flying UC is entitled to invite a guest into the Clubhouse, regardless of status, as long as the guest is on the same flight.

Your status only makes a difference if you're not flying UC: in that case you'd need to be Au to get into the Clubhouse, but would still be entitled to invite a guest.

UC pax are also allowed to take a guest into the clubhouses as long as they are on the same flight.

Thanks for the replies everyone. On board now, looks like a slight delay for vs601 waiting for some connecting pax. Good service so far and a 'welcome on board Dr. Young' which always goes down well.
