Call me cynical, but that reads more as an Emirates press release.

But you do have to admit, their product is way above the station of VS, Clubhouse or not....but given it doesn't fly LHR-NYC every 1/4 hr, doesn't often get a straight comparison.
Home pick up with all business fares..
A new cabin that hasn't been a complete fail (I.e. Dream suite) -we haven't heard much of that recently from the vs marketing machine...
Productive use of A380, I.e in flight bar, way beyond VS's
Regional long haul presence...
