VS27 May 18th 2014

Hi I'm new, 1st time posting so bear with me...

We are booked on the VS27 on May 18th 2014 in PE, and the VS28 on 26th May.I've been studying the seat maps to see where is best to sit...... I have seen that 19A/K sound good for flying out (decent for quick exit) and that 24A/C (in the bubble) for return journey.

My questions are "are these good choices" and am I correct in thinking that it will be a 747 plane? Flying from Gatwick. Any advice appreciated. We have flown Virgin a couple of times in last 2years but will be 1st time in PE.

I think its a pretty good combo assuming you mean A/C but I'm not that familiar with the LGW fleet , I'm sure someone will be along soon to offer more advice .

The perceived wisdom amongst V Flyers is that 19 A & C on the LGW Fleet provide the best available.

The plus points being you are right at the back of the lower deck PE Cabin, so will be one of the first off the aircraft at Orlando. Also, you may recline without hindrance to others .

The only downside is being at the back, your ability to choose your preferred meal may be limited

Did that flight on Friday.
We had 17A&C but spoke to the folks in 19 and they always book those seats.
It means you don't have anyone tapping on the touch screen at your back. And yes they definitely recline as much as any other.
We were very lucky in that there were very few passengers.
Being downstairs we were first off and there were no queues so no need to use the biometric booths at immigration.
I am booked 19A&C for the return.
