I have just booked a return flight from Manchester to New York on May 25th . I noticed it was cheaper to fly to New York from Manchester connecting via Heathrow than going direct from Heathrow . It was around £60 cheaper per person . I was just wondering the reason for this .
More flights and thus more space on the Heathrow end?
It's probably just to encourage more people to use Little Red. I got amazing savings by booking from Manchester.
Loyal VS Flyer since 2003
Also worth checking both the trans-Atlantic flights are actually on VS metal and not DL, as the cheapest VS fares on the MAN>JFK route are routing via ATL then direct to/from MAN on Delta.
