Hi all,

Heading to BGI from LGW on the 18th next month and will be in PE both legs. Flight is showing as a 747 at the moment (realise this could go to an A340 at any point!). Just wondered what the best seats were in the 747 layout? Some better than others?

Thanks in advance!

We still prefer the bubble despite the new split cabin. A & C going out if we can get them because it is the sunny side and has a great view of Barbados when landing. But they are usually reserved for Virgin Holidays people so last month we went with 22H & K and they were fine. Last year we tried downstairs (15 A&C I think) but we found it noisier than upstairs.

On the LGW 747's I would choose 19A/19C.
The back row of PE downstairs resulting in being the first off the plane where door 2 is used.

Thanks all. Nothing showing in the bubble yet but will check nearer the time - I do like it up there. That said, for 19A/C, is there a lot of noise from behind?

Row 24 for us, ok, so your not first off, but it's much quieter, spacious and comfortable in our opinion. We didn't like the downstairs PE cabin, too many people.
