Hope that this may assist any other folk unfortunate enough to have to travel through Lagos !!

I traveled back Tuesday night, flying BA Club. Anyone who has suffered Customs and Security there will know how long winded and unpleasant it can be.

The good news, there is now a new facility, at the far (left) end of the Airport, near the BA desks, which was bright, air conditioned and staffed with a team who actually smiled and made the whole process pleasant.

From entering the zone to getting to the BA Lounge took no more than ten minutes, previously I have wasted over an hour.

Good to know, as I may soon be acquiring a team in Lagos that I will need to go and visit. Must admit that it's not somewhere that's ever featured on my bucket list of places to go, but needs must. Would welcome any other tips that could make business travel less painful there (bearing in mind I have zero experience of visiting Africa, apart from a brief trip to Morocco many years ago).

BTW, please don't suggest anything that could conflict with the ethics policy that I'm bound by :-)

Lagos is my town RC and I will be too happy to offer as much advise as I can if needed. I have not flown BA in a few years because the airport is an absolute nightmare at night (absolutely no pun intended) with about 5 flights landing in quick succession. I find the VS arrival in the early hours of the morning better to deal with as it's only 2 flights that come in at that time.

If your office has a good protocol team then they can help make the experience a lot easier
