FC number not showing on booking?

Hi all,

I am trying to add my FC number to a booking that was made on my behalf (directly with VS) but can't seem to get it onto the main booking page - I add it in fine on the 'add number' screen, but then nothing appears on the main page.

Might this be a website issue or something else?

Make sure you are clicking on the save frequent flyer button next to where you put your number in and not save details at the bottom of the page.

It has taken me a few attempts in the past.

If you log in to your FC account, does the booking in question show in your list of upcoming bookings?

I ask because I've got the same situation with an upcoming booking of mine -- if I view the booking page, it tells me there's no FC number, and if I save mine it never actually seems to save.

BUT - if I log in and view my upcoming bookings, it does show, so it must be saved somewhere! Strange...

No it doesn't - I have to go to they age bookings input and put my reference I'm etc.

Ah, outbound is P. Would that affect it? Ticket info says it's a marketing fare.

Yes. You cannot link an FC number to the reward booking, so it therefore doesn't show on the future flights.
I think if you called FC they used to be able to do something to make it sure, but can't fully remember.

I have the opposite problem - my reward flights are linked and showing in MMB, but my flights booked with Virgin Holidays aren't linked even thoiught they have our FC numbers loaded!

Those won't show until tickets are issued VH have a system allowing access to your booking before it is ticketed. Once these are on the way to you your flights show in future flights.
