Hello V-Flyers. Just wondering if anyone had any insight into the optimal time for purchasing Little Red flights?

I'm needing to get up to EDI on 02 June and the flights had consistently been 53GBP until I checked last week and the time I was looking at had gone up to 64GBP - it's not really an issue but this time (just after 9am) is the best for me as I fly in on VS201 at 5.25am. Would I be best just to book it now or is there any chance further sales fares for this time might be released?

Thanks in advance for any insight!

Doubt there will be any change. The fare bucket is sold out so unlikely to be refilled for a sale.

The difference is £11.
I suppose that shows what Little Red is up against.

All LR flights are a "wet lease" from Aer Lingus, AL own the plane, pay the staff and operate the service it's just painted in Virgin colours (still with Irish ID tags). Occasionally if a plane goes tech a green and white plane will operate the service.

However are you suggesting the Aer Lingus name is now appearing on booking info? Not sure if that was always the case.

The booking engine has always mentioned the 'Operated by Aer Lingus on behalf of Virgin Atlantic' bit for all VLR flights.

Right - that makes sense..! I am going to take Mrs Armstrong to Edinburgh. For £50 each its a bargain..! Parking should be about £50 as well so total price of £150 is less than a train which is about £250 from where I live! Driving is a no go - just way too long.

Plus, I will get teir points and miles!

Haha! Was just going for shorthand abbreviation, will stick to IATA codes in future!
