I did forecast 2015 for completion, seems that may be optimistic ):

So I recommended Virgin to my pal at work who is flying to New York soon. Did the Miles More Friends recommendation and she registered on VS website etc. A few error screens and hoops later...

Her comments?

Anyone else noticed that the list of flights you have booked based on your Flying Club number now seems to have disappeared once you click either the 'my booking' or 'Your future flights' links after logging in to Flying Club now?

You are now just presented with a page asking you to manually enter your PNR for each individual booking instead?

Yes, but being new to the website I thought it was the norm but silly! Why have a link to "your future flights" when all u can see is the one you put the pnr in for?! For that I can go into manage my booking! i)

Yes, that appears to have changed today. Hard to see it as a step forward.

Incidentally, has anyone else noticed how slow it is to retrieve already booked itineraries? Last week it was taking between 30-40 seconds to access bookings and it doesn't seem any better.

I noticed that a couple of weeks ago. Very annoying, assumed it was just a glitch but maybe not.

Perhaps worth someone asking Howard on Facebook about that and the change to My Future Flights?

When I finally got into my booking (circa 2 mins) just for a laugh I thought I would remind myself of the seatmap opening date (well for this week at least), if I click on the View FAQs for further information link, I get taken to the Find Answers page which is blank. And searching on anything in the argument box returns: No results found.

Just when I thought they could not be any more amateurish they manage to achieve it.

There are a fair few dead ends and out of date pages on the VS site as you describe SF... I think the Ozwald Boateng amenity kits are still hidden on there somewhere :P

It is baffling as to why VS have gone with the frankenstein like design that currently exists throughout their webpages, although I have to admit it does keep us all on our toes.

Very poor show with the search error not returning the fare classes that we ask for n( n( Are we thinking glitch or deliberate action (reducing the amount of people technically eligible for upgrade) ?

Perhaps if they try turning their servers off then back on again ii)

I can. When I logged into my FC account and clicked on to the Spend Miles tab and then clicked on Upgrades and then Cabin Upgrades, it took me to an old-style page with the complete list of upgradeable fares.

Follow the process through to the booking matrix and check out the fare breakdowns at the bottom of the page. The VS website kindly changes your selected options to the non upgradeable fare buckets n(

Actually, I hadn't. I just thought from reading the posts, that it was no longer there like some of the other features that were present on the older pages.

One feature that is missing for me is the currency converter, which always showed up on the fare matrix. Unless I'm missing something, it is no longer there.

Why do VS change the things that do work and ignore the things that don't? So frustrating! As said above, having to enter the booking reference each time when logged into FC just makes the experience last even longer!

Clearly no one at VS actually uses the website or considers the customers experience!
