333 or 747

Sure this might have been asked before, but can't see it. Am flying LGW to BGI 20th May in UC, seat map shows A330 config, could this change to 747? When does Virgin finally decide plane type?

Don't take my word for it but I think that all BGI flights are on 333 nowadays.

Yes it could change due to some maintenance or tech issues, but BGI is currently scheduled for A333's so it's unlikely.

Do they not fly a 747 on certain days of the week? Or is that just in the summer months?

I think a 747 just on Sundays or something

It will definetly be on an a333 virgin wont change it.

I thought certain days it was still a 747 in the summer for, saddo that I am, when looking at our caribbean trip this summer it was one of the factors into deciding where and when we might go.

Having checked again on a dummy booking, and as Penny_L indicates, it shows a 747 for Sunday 3rd August.
