So after check in opened at 18:15 (not 17:30 like the VS website says!), quick through the priority security lane, normal queue looked bad!

Now in the Clubhouse, is it built inside a volcano?! So hot!

Mojito ordered!

We were there in November but for the early flight. It reminded me of the inside of a cupboard, perhaps now you say that it is an airing cupboard?

I thought the flight was quite cold all the time!

Good evening from the EWR Clubhouse ... seems pretty quiet tonight, only a couple of dozen in with an hour till boarding for the very last late evening VS2.

Doesn't seem overly hot to me - I'd say pleasantly warm which is a welcome relief after the cold, wet miserable day it's been out here.

I have to say the service is absolutely impeccable - I have wanted for nothing and my waitress has more or less insisted that I try the entire menu!! In fact I'd say the food and service in both NY Clubhouses are better than at LHR.

So top marks VS - and I have a feeling it'll be a great flight as one of the senior CC who mightily impressed me on my outbound to LAX a couple of weeks ago is working this one too.

Thanks Blacky, hope your BIL enjoyed the Clubhouse and that NYC's treating you well! I was there Mon/Tues and it was cold but sunny so hopefully it'll improve for you.
