I've guested someone in before and was happy to do so.

Problem is, it has become very difficult to do this since VS changed the policy to restrict you to guests flying on your flight only.

I have also guested people in several times, but as mentioned above the new rules make it more difficult to so so

I have too :D :D

Since the rule change, the ability to offer when not on the same flight has of course reduced opportunity

I have once and was fortunate to phone ahead to the New York clubhouse because I was delayed and would miss him arriving . He was allowed in and he thanked me . Well it was the least I could do for a fellow V- flyer

I agree - it is a pity the rules changed. I always check the itinerary calendar but it's all misses and no hits these days.

This just prompted me to have a look at the itinerary cal. Not much at all in 'overlap', there are to Vflyers flying to MCO at the end of April, but other than that, it looks like passes will be wasted.

So, for all v-flyers and guests, if you are flying Virgin Atlantic remember to check the itinerary calendar in the drop down menu within The Toolbox.

You might just find that your flight is listed and someone on that flight is offering an invitation to a lounge or Clubhouse.

All you then have to do is compose a message of introduction, after registering if accessing the site as a guest, of course.

Smart casual works for me, you need to be house trained and capable of having a conversation, and a free bar doesn't mean that you need to drink all of it n(

Myself and Wife have been guested in - we were attempting even under the same flight rule being stretched a little - same destination, not same flight number (on the 2 LGW-ORL flights). But then the couple guesting us found their flight was combined with ours and we did have same flight number in end - so all worked out..

A very nice v-flyer kindly done this - and as it was my wifes birthday too, so a double nice surprise.

Managed to get my parents guested by a fellow V Flyer last year. They loved it, it was so nice they got to see where I go when I fly back to the US. Just logged on to put my itenery in as just got an upgrade to upper on the 20th LHR - MIA. Pass available!
