Using Virgin Miles to book reward flight on Delta

Can anyone please advise me on how I go about booking reward flights on Delta using Virgin Flying Club miles, I assume that this is possible.

Please let us know if you have any success, I have a bee in my bonnet at the moment about FC members apparent lack of success booking rewards on partner airlines - SQ / Air NZ in particular, but it seems to me they are big on glossy advertised offers, but availability and booking successes seem another issue entirely. n( n(

No luck yet, I was looking for 2 reward UC/business seats to New York in July, Virgin currently have no availability & situation is the same with Delta, hopefully seats will become available nearer to the time.
