So this may not be news to the seasoned traveller, but I noticed a 'life hack' on Facebook which mentioned on an aisle seat, the aisle facing arm rest which on nearly all flights is static can be moved. If one reaches under the arm rest towards the join with the actual seat, there is a release button. This then allows the arm rest to pivot upwards.
Tried this on a little red flight yesterday.... Amazing! No more awkward movements to get out of the seat and plenty more room offered!
Again, this may not be news... But made my day yesterday.
Now apparently, there is a thing called sliced bread which I need to look into!
