Advance Seats

We fly economy to Orlando on the 17th of June this year. Can we book our seats now if we want to pay for certain seats or the Seat Plus on a row of 3. Just been told that it's not guaranteed where we sit, yet a few weeks ago were told we could ?

Hi, you will be able to request seats, for free, online at 60 days before your flight (so 18th April).

From later this summer you'll be able to request seats at the time of booking, and in economy that will cost £25 in most cases. For now though, it's still free and only available at T-60.

If you want to pay for Seat Plus, extra legroom or exit row seats you can do so now or at any point (subject to availability) but you won't be able to choose specific seats - they'll be allocated for you.

Seat requests are never guaranteed on any airline. They'll be honoured in the vast majority of cases but airlines always reserve the right to change them if, say, a large group need seating together.

Assuming the new system is actually working by October that is!

At the moment, after 25th June this year, you will be able to choose at time of booking, but dates could change again as they have been doing recently
