Sorry if a bit off topic, but, does anyone have any first hand experiences of Virgin Holidays in Florida, particually Hilton Clearwater. We are planning for May 2006.

Also, does anyone know if we need to book the entire holiday through Virgin Weddings or can still book the hol online for the 10% discount?

Thanks in advance,
Peter

Even I was searching for discounts on Virgin weddings and that’s how I came across this post. Can anyone tell how we can get discounts?

With Virgin holidays just being a VS member gets a 5% discount on phone bookings, Silver 7%, Gold 10%. This is for phone bookings, online gets 10% as standard.

If you are a frequent Virgin Hols customer you can get invited to FVC after usually a couple of holidays(Frequent Virgin Club), which offers 5% discount, and a night at hotel before/after, free parking at airport. Usually with free v-room access. You can also drop the free parking/hotel and get a straight 10% (or could last time). The option you take would depend on value spend as 10% can be worth more than the other options on a £4k + spend (thats how I work it out).

I always do a phone booking with V Hols if I can now - why? Well I've got a cracking honeymoon 2 years ago with custom itiniary which cost in end around £4k less than doing same trip "direct", and lots less than initial quote by moving dates around with the VH advisor. Took 3 weeks but ended up paying a ridiculously small sum for what was a 5* throughout holiday.
