Hahaha - I think we all on here suggested onesies as appropriate nightwear in a thread in past - and has been followed up with an official one.

Great idea though, I'm looking forward to trying - lets hope it's available in September and the beancounters approve VS for me.

Oh dear, oh dear...

I agree with Paul - this is not going to help VS attract premium pax from other airlines...

More to the point, how much wriggling out do you need when nature calls?

Quite like the socks on the Twitter pic.

That's one(sie) step too far.

It’s new, fun and a bit different. It looks a lot better quality than the current sleep suit (which is full of static) and shows VS spending a little more on premium passengers.

Nice one VS. Now let’s have a new amenity kit.

I don't understand what the fuss is all about. It's for PR! VS have always followed the idea of being young, innovative and cheeky so I guess this is just pandering to that and generating a little bit of publicity. Also I'm sure the plan isn't to remove the current sleep suit and only offer onesies :? Come on guys its just a bit of fun.

I just saw something on Instagram about upper class onesies. I'm sure some of us will be happy about that.

Exactly. Hasn't the complaint in recent months/years been that the fun has been lacking?

Gotta agree with that - I for one will be giving it a go.
It's a bit of the VS of old we all fell for.

I'm actually surprised they didnt' make it Red/more stand out. Black is a little boring.

But I'll definitely be giving it a go, and "acquiring" one for the wife if I can ;)

And I too hope it is less scratchy/hot than the current sleep suit.

Any idea when they're being introduced?
Mrs Hull will be over the moon if she gets one on our trip to MIA on the 14th.

unless there's a comedy trap door arrangement, perhaps involving velcro, i'm assuming full length front zip

but that'd mean shrugging off the top and leaving it to dangle on the floor should you need to be seated

i await user reports with interest

Yeuk :$ :$ .Given I "need to be seated" (lol) the floors in the loos are usually "damp" for most of the flight and I have no desire to partake :) .
DL in a onesie :0 ?
Mr DL would wet himself laughing..... :P .
