Not casting any aspersions / creating any divide, I'm genuinely interested in the mix. Of the people who are flying in Upper Class with real MONEY (whether company or their own), not miles (and not Economy or PE passengers who think the idea is great), who believes this innovation is a good investment?
Generally yes, which is why I am most miffed when I do try to use FC miles and cannot ... my point about the onesie is that that moment has passed, it is a dud because the peak of onesie-ness is (IMO) gone so the marketing 'bubble' is late. This makes it untrendy, not fun and trendy, like a middle aged man in flip flops with socks. It shows a marketing team that is off the ball, so to speak.
The second thing I would say, and noting I have never taken a sleep suit home with me after a flight, is that I'm guessing it'll be some poly-gasoline-nylon-plastic mix so deeply uncomfortable and especially it will be hot when the ctew crank up the temperature to nullify all the pax so they can huddle around Heat magazine instead. I have nothing against onesies, I have a nice quality one that is good to slip into on a cold night after a days skiing. Not on an aeroplane!
