But hate it when it doesn't.

My set-in-stone ideal routing for July has now been "scuppered" as someone else got the seats/price increased before my PA got the mighty bean counter responsible for my budget to approve the trip - now happened. Amazed that sub 24 hours the price on a the DL option has gone up £2k in business elite (no VS planes on ATL route until later in year). As we say with Flights - book em whilst they exist, and it does show how much these things change - and how quick. I'm just commenting on this here as it is a VS codeshare to ATL here. It's not logical to accept such an offering when the BA option is over 2k less. BA option now booked/confirmed in the system.

This has dashed my hopes of being VS gold this year, as this was the gold earning trip effectively - but in positives I suppose I'll end up renewing my BA status..

Expect a TR from a modern BA 777 in July on a return Club world trip - Usually I get to go WT+ on such a short hop but in this case I need to work immediately on landing...

I've also noted the UC price on a one way trip from Vegas to home next year is ~ >£9800 in April one way!!! That is most expensive I've seen it - anyone top that on a VS fare found? Quite glad I've got a PE redemption on same flight, but I doubt I'll find any G's on that one!

BA are very competive with pricing on this route. I have just done this In first on BA and it was cheaper than CW and Bus on Delta. £2,670 with three weeks hire of a cadillac Escalade thrown in (3 x tickets) bargain in anybody's terms :D

PaulS - in this case Club = cheaper than WT+ when initially priced a week ago by £100 - but with only a 50 quid difference in it today on booking, it was better to book Club than WT+ - As I said to COO today, I'll pay the 50 quid myself if you quibble about this. First sadly was not in cheap range so didn't offer that, can always hope for an op-up.

Why anyone would book WT+ when Club cheaper I have zero clue - that is pure madness. I'd note I had the same on VS last year on a trip - PE = more than UC though, resulting in me getting UC - sheer madness. I've made it SOP with my PA to check PE, Business and First pricing on any route...

Economy pricing on the ATL route is mad though, it was > 1700 when I checked... seriously full plane!

Revenue management at airlines must be a maddening job for those doing it!
