I shall have to watch my belongings more closely next time I fly VS!!!

I think the fact Virgin print 'pinched from Virgin Atlantic' on the bottom of them, means that VS are expecting and game for pax to take them.

Trying to compare it to shop lifting from Tesco is like comparing a grape and an iPhone, just bizarre - and I've never seen 'pinched from Tesco' stamped on the bottom of a bottle of Vodka (yes, I've looked :| )

I love this thread, I'd never thought of 'obtaining' the salt and pepper shakers for myself... now a couple of those old fashioned champoo glasses would look nice in my drinks cabinet... ):

Don't the knives have some reference to "Steal" on them?

And no, I can't check.... :)

My mother-in-law has two small glasses in her cupboard with 'stolen from Virgin Atlantic' printed on the bottom.

On my flight to MCO last week, the three other people in UC asked about taking a salt and pepper set (interestingly, the salt was the silver one and the pepper was black.....) but they were asked to take them on the inbound if the wouldn't mind.....

They were told that only 14 sets were loaded and they would need them all for the return or someone would have to go without out.....absolutely encouraged to take them on the inbound.

I have heard this before a couple of times too.

... Your not stealing them... just 'Wet Leasing' them ;)

My 2014 fleet below! (I do ask every time and they don't mind).....

Just make sure you empty the salt before you pocket them! I forgot once and was trailing a fine white powder through customs. I don't know which was worse... looking like a drug dealer or kleptomaniac!

If you ever fly Upper on VA look out for the salt and pepper pots!
They are super cute and look like a mini Sydney Opera House - and they are china too!

Think they were made with a nod to the famous/infamous VS ones...

We've got a "few" pots from our travels :D Although we always ask, and have never been refused.

I know VS have changed their catering supplier lately, which is probably why on our last flight, I had 2 pepper pots on my tray both filled with salt !, Mrs Chumba had a salt pot with pepper in, and a pepper pot with salt in.

Come on guys its not hard to know what to put in each one; y)
