After our fabulous trip to Japan just a few short weeks ago we've decided to return and see a bit more of the place, we loved it so much. I've got what I believe to be a good deal on my tailor made package as it came in only a couple of hundred more than the last trip and includes an extra night and all higher class hotels than last time. Should be right in the middle of Cherry Blossom season too.

I also bagged 2 M fares and upgraded to Gs, saving me even more money, so I'm a happy boy, doing my happy dance... ^) |:) ^)

err, ok, belly wobbles not good v(

Result ! Well done you ! Looks like Tokyo is good in terms of G availability ? LAX-LHR G's seem to be even less available then before ... Not a single one in view for February and only one in March at the moment ... Not useful at all ...
Love the Happy Dance, with or without wobbles ;)

julmops - managed to get 2 G's in and out of LAX out/in in April '15. They DO exist and are not mere rumours, and I have tickets proving it! I would note mine did NOT show on the website, I phoned and they found them. SFO I found far harder than LAX.

I also found Feb 15 had plenty of availability to LAX about a month ago.

My first time in Tokyo was in the middle of cherry blossom and its just great!!! PINK EVERYWHERE!!
Are you going to Kyoto? the shirakawa stream in higashi gion is simply divine during cherry blossom.

lol, a friend of mine calls it a jelly roll when I boogie...

@gfonk - yes I'm going to Kyoto again, and have built in time to visit Osaka and perhaps another city whilst in the region.

@marshy - so far no, but I have 300 days to plan summat. I've been thinking about a night-time helicopter flight over the Tokyo skyline, that would be awesome I think, and he'd like that.

Yes I have fallen in love with Japan and the Japanese people who I find warm and inquisitive and very appreciative that a gaijin takes such an interest in their country and culture.

The golden pavilion in Kyoto is wonderful, we spent a lovely morning there and I got a great shot of the pavilion and it's reflection on the lake. Nijo castle is great too. The NRT route is one that seems to have plenty of reward availability, so if you've got miles and it's on your to-do list, I say do it!

Ultreen we felt the same about Canada, very specifically Vancouver, and now Japan. :D
