When is your flight?
The only thing I can think of is if you have booked a virgin holiday outside of Virgin Atlantic's booking window. Since you can only book flights 11months in advance I would assume that you can only manage those booked via VH 11 months in advance.

Ok well them I would suggest that you probably won't be able to manage your booking until Thursday next week 19th at the very earliest as at the moment your flight is more than 11 months/336 days away. In all likelihood you won't be able to access MMB until your return flight is also within the booking window, so - two weeks later? (I don't know how long you're away).

Does anyone know what time on 25th June You will be able to book PE seats? I booked PE tickets hoping I could upgrade with miles only to be told that unlike BA who let you upgrade any PE ticket with Avios I was not in an eligible class. This was followed by being told I could book my seats from 1st April which was then changed to 25th June! Anyway, hopefully all will be well on 25 June.

Whilst on the MMB will be open showing you can 'try' to request your seats it doesn't register until 8am. You just get an error message if you try before then.

I don't know anything about BA upgrades but Virgin miles upgrades are always bucket fare specific.

Yes BA allow miles upgrades from any PE (or Business) fare bucket. They don't, however, allow double cabin upgrades (eg Economy to Business) which VS do, so it's horses for courses.

Also worth pointing out that while the current system lets you request seats from 8am at T-60, there's no guarantee the new system will go online at 8am on June 25th.
