All fares on the USA website for NYC to LHR route are currently listing at over $14,025 for a round trip Upper Class fare. anytime from July to November.

Seems they don't want our business then!

Really? I've just chosen dates at random - 9 September ex-JFK and returning 16 September ex-LHR and I'm getting $4900.

It is also quoting $14000 or thereabouts, but that's for the most expensive flexible J fare. The VS website should quote you the lowest and highest fares available in each cabin - of course there are also many buckets in between.

+1 on that. I have just checked a dates at random as they did seem high.
5th Aug outbound
12th Aug inbound
and the cost of taking two VS metal flights on the these day in UC was
Lowest - $3900
Highest - $14000
Remember the Highest will be fully flexible and have the car service to and from the airport.
Might be worth a call to VS CS and asking them for the lowest cost dates??

and... they fixed it.

for an hour or two last night, NY time, there were only full fare UC tickets available (no discounted ones) hence the $14,000+ price tag.

one of the usual glitches in the system I guess.
