Check in was a breeze and was offered a free rtn EC trip anywhere apart from OZ if I took a later indirect flight as it was over sold, unfortunately I had to decline as I was pre-registered for a poker tourney....maybe next time but if anyone could have delayed their trip some 10 hours I think it was a great deal.

Flight departed on time and off I went to lovely LV once again :)

I was seated in an exit row on upper deck which I has prepaid, seat was a bit narrow due to the IFE screen being in the seat but still good enough.
Aisle traffic was busy but that was expected but the CC were outstanding. Two gentlemen but the names escapes me where on hand for our every need infact I would say that this was the best service I have ever recieved from CC in EC/PE and I pointed this out to the FSM y) just a shame that this isnt consistant through Virgin.

IFE was playing up a bit but still its pretty good.

For the meal I went for the vegetable curry which was very good imo, the meat option was not so good apparently judging by the other pax.

Landed ahead of schedule, downstairs pax not held back but I dont think they ever are anymore. Immigration was fine which is good as the Mexico flight lands around the same times so queues can be long.

All in all a good flight but very well done the CC on the upper deck EC/PE 10 ou of 10 y)

Thanks for the TR. Sounds like a very positive experience.

It was just such an offer that got us hooked on the Caribbean. A couple of points though...remember that the offer is from the same reward pool as all other reward flights with all the related issues, so a bit like Norwegian Air flights to the US for £150 the headline offer doesn't always tell the whole truth.

And I thought they didn't fly to Oz anymore... :w
