I've noticed that when people post a website link on this forum, clicking on the link creates a re-direct via: "successfultogether.co.uk".

What is that, exactly? The site re-directs to: http://www.affili.net/uk/Home.aspx

As an example, take this post: forum/index.php?f=4&t=286449&rb_v=viewtopic#p878531

This link in the post: http://www.virgin-atlantic.com/gb/en.html

...is actually this link:

http://being.successfultogether.co.uk/c ... gb/en.html

Is this happening for everyone?

It's so the site can gain revenue though commission.
If you make a booking within 30days of clicking one of these links, V-Flyer will get 2% commission (0.5% for NYC, 0% on LR, 0% if sale from Lagos or Accra) unless you have clicked through someone else's affiliate link, or deleted your cookies since.

I help with some other websites and they use affiliate links to generate revenue. Main places to sign up to become an affiliate with many companies are affiliatewindow.com (who v-flyer seem to use) and tradedoubler.com

Thanks again.

I wonder if that information ought to be stated somewhere 'formally' on the site. I've noticed that increased transparency with regard to affiliate revenue/advertising is becoming more common.

I don't personally mind, and I'm all for V-Flyer getting some extra revenue, but perhaps some might like to know that information before posting a link.

Some sites do, especially making clear about the tracking cookie it places on your device.
But V-Flyer does alert you that this website uses cookies as per EU law.
