Twilight check in took a little while, only to be told 'you should have just gone to the UC desk'. Oh well. Checking staff friendly and very good with the numerous ankle biters. Hilton also queued out, but a quite recce found the dedicated HHonors check in.Room in the new bit and now taking advantage of the Exec lounge - busy but not full at 6.30...

So how are the chicken wings and Cava tonight? Or is it Prosecco, been a while for me (ok, was there last week, but no lounge access that time sadly...)?

Also didn't realise there were separate UC desks for twilight check-in, good to remember for the future.

Bon vacances!

Good Evening.
Seven weeks till we should be there . Can't wait. Enjoy your pre trip indulgence - it is lovely when one is safely at the airport and everything is ahead ... Have a great flight.

I did wonder what vege chicken wings could be, until they were revealed as mini somosa. Cava tonight.

!

It's the desk on the far left and there's nothing to indicate that you shouldn't just join the main queue...

Have a great time Paul, you can start the holiday now you are all checked in and relaxed.
Don't forget to pack essentials in you hand luggage for the return in case Swissport haven't got their act together.

We have had some good downpours here this afternoon, mind you the garden needed it. Glad you got the grass mowed. Linda :P

One of the downpours caught me on the 10 yards between front door and taxi...

I'm confused by the Swissport stories; some say it's only on arrival into the UK there are issues, some it 's both ways. Prepared for the latter, at the moment don't care about the former...
