Hello
I am approaching 60 says for my upcoming (surprise) trip to Vegas. I have taken the advice of the forum and I am not going to book the very front seat on the way out in the nose, meaning that any seat on the right hand side of the plane will be fine.

On the way back I will be flying in Premium which I have not used for a while with the Purple seats and changed config (previously have used in both VA and NZ in a sort of min cabin with 6 seats next to the stairs and once in an all PE bubble, really loved the mini cabin feel and even managed to sleep the whole way back once but had a very heavy cold so was drugged up)

Question I have, firstly am I able to book the return seats at the same time as the outward, I think 60 says/8am hits this Friday.

Secondly thoughts on where to seat.

Not to worried about de planning quickly or food choice (as GF so my bland meal comes first!)
Would be nice to sleep a few hours.
Being comfortable and ideally a window seat (love those sunsets).

Thanks

I'll leave others to recommend seats but you won't be able to request seats for the return leg until 60 days before it departs.

Hi WPIL
In my opinion there are really no 'bad' seats in Premium Economy. The seat is very good, nice and wide and comfy wherever you sit. I tend to go a couple or rows back from the front for a couple of reasons, being one of the first for meal service, closer to the door for exit, but not right at the front so as to reduce galley noise gif downstairs)/proximity to toilet (if upstairs). It's really for you to weigh up the options - some like te back row so they can recline without guilt. All seats have the same recline, some would endorse the 'bubble', some say downstairs is better.

HI WPIL,

After my most recent trip back and being in the bubble, I have two favourite preferences.

My preference is the 18K (window lower deck) as you get no one sat behind you especially with the touch screen entertainment. The toilets are behind you but this really didn't affect me to be honest. But I liked this seat ok it was last for food orders but like you say when specific request made this makes no difference.

Upstairs I like 24(K) as this has recline although has the emergency exit behind but you have the side pocket that you get in the bubble which gives you extra storage and space to put anything say a drink or pillow or blanket when finished etc without having to disturb the person next to you and no fuss when landing to get you belongings as you can get them out of the pocket. The upstairs even with the economy passengers is still exclusive, although not as much, but it is quite quiet and is really nice.

Like nkp85uk says it is all a bit of a personal preference on what you prefer as they all have their ups and downs.

Update
Seats all booked now!
On the way out I am in 9K, hoping there will be a G free so that one of my friends can upgrade, the rest are all in PE
On the way back have gone with 24K in the bubble, looks like ZERO chance of upgrading though
