Hi,
Travelling to MCO on the 17th Sept for our 40th Wedding anniversary so we are treating ourselves to UC on the outbound leg. Requested seats 8A-9A, only six seats taken as of today. Ok with onboard expectations, thanks to loads of advice from fellow v-flyers, but have a few clubhouse questions so any advice would be appreciated.

Flight out at 13:00 so max 3 hours allowed in the clubhouse?
Treatments, are there any complementary ones plus the paid ones?
Boarding calls. On our only other UC flight we checked the monitor near the entrance for our flight times etc. I have seen reference to flights being called in the clubhouse. Did not hear any announcements last time, should wait until the second call to avoid the scrum that normally happens?
Is there any etiquette regarding what you can eat for breakfast. I only ask because last time my choice was quite small and I could have done with a bit more to keep me going until the meal on board (I'm diabetic so need to watch my sugar levels do not get too low)

As always, thanks in advance for any pearls of wisdom.

p.s. HL I will partake of a proper drink (not a latte) to uphold v-flyer traditions :)

Congrats on your Ruby wedding anniversary ^) . There is no time restriction in the Clubhouse for you in the CH- arrive when it opens and leave on the second call :D . There are some complementary treatments as well as the psid ones (I'm struggling to post the link from the VS website ).
Eat and drink what you want , when you want .Portion size seems to have diminished over the years :(! and its not uncommon to have have several meals during a visit.
The LGW CH staff are generally very helpful.

Good Morning Mac

Firstly, congratulations on the wedding anniversary ^) ^) ^)

As far as entry to the Clubhouse is concerned, as an UC passenger you can enter the Clubhouse any time you like - when Mrs Buns and I are on the VS15 we aim to be there no loater than 8:30. We have breakfast at the brasserie (after Mrs B has booked her treatment of course) and then retire to a quieter place in the Clubhouse.

There are usually two beaty therapists on duty and as you are on the later flight, there is usually no problem gettign a later treatment.

The Gatwick Clubhouse is very good sty giving the Boarding call at the right time - so no need to panic :D

Happy Anniversary.

Having been there just a few weeks ago, I would say enjoy, have fun and don't worry.

Here is the brunch menu, which my two teenagers managed to have most of. Don't worry about etiquette, the only proper rule is to have a Virgin Redhead or Champagne with every mouthful!

Your choice of poached or scrambled egg with Cumberland sausage, streaky bacon, black pudding, tomato, field mushroom, baked beans and a round of toast.

Smoked trout kedgeree
With a poached egg and curry sauce.

Breakfast rolls
Your choice of Cumberland sausage or streaky bacon served with either tomato or brown sauce.

Eggs Benedict
Poached eggs on sliced ham with Hollandaise sauce served on a toasted English muffin.

Eggs Royale
Sliced smoked salmon, poached eggs and Hollandaise sauce served on a toasted English muffin.

Eggs Florentine (V)
Sauteed spinach, poached eggs and Hollandaise sauce served on a toasted English muffin.

Warm maple glazed banana (V)

Served with mixed berry thickie.

Toasted crumpets (V)
With blackberry butter.

The Clubhouse burger
Served on a bed of Italian slaw, lettuce, horseradish ketchup, Dijon honey mustard, beef tomato and sliced gherkin.

Something light Toasted bloomer (V)
Served with preserves and butter.

Seasonal fruit salad (V)
Freshly cut local and far fetched fruits.

Selection of cereals (V)

Please ask a member of the team for today’s choices. (V) dishes are suitable for vegetarians

We have selected a great coffee to start the day, which is also Fairtrade, organic and part of the Rainforest Alliance Americano, latte, cappuccino and espresso available.
S
election of teas from Taylors of Harrogate
Yorkshire Gold, Yorkshire Decaffeinated, Earl Grey, organic chamomile, organic peppermint, raspberry & vanilla and blackberry & elderflower.

Fruit juices
Orange, apple, grapefruit, cranberry, pineapple and tomato available.
Mango and passion fruit smoothie

Breakfast cocktails
Clubhouse Bloody Mary
Vodka working seamlessly with our Bloody Mary tomato mix. A perfect morning awakening.
The Virgin Red Head
A delicious blend of muddled raspberries, pressed lemon juice, cassis and frambroise liqueurs, shaken with Bombay Sapphire Gin, then finished with fizz.
The original Bacardi Mojito
The fusion of Bacardi Superior Rum, fresh mint, muddled lime and sugar creates a drink for instant refreshment.
Breakfast Martini

Our own take on the classic Lanesborough cocktail, created with Chase’s award winning marmalade vodka.
Bucks Fizz
Freshly squeezed orange juice finished with bubbly.

The treatment room is very small and you need to go in and book straight away, even before you take your first breath. But as has been said, being on the later flight, if you are in early, you should be fine.

It would certainly make it an appropriate gift.
We went on her for that journey.
Congratulations and have a good one.
