I think you can do it:

16. Members will have the right to cancel any purchase of Miles for up to 7 days after the date of purchase provided that none of the purchased Miles have been redeemed. If any of the purchased Miles have been redeemed then Members will not be entitled to a refund for any of the purchased Miles including those that have not been redeemed. Once the 7 day cooling off period has expired any Miles purchased and received by Members are non-refundable and non-transferable, except as expressly permitted by the terms and conditions of Flying Club.

I rang and explained today that I boosted the day before the offer, and could they just add the extra 25%.

I have had to cancel my transactions by emailing customer services but so far I have had no confirmation that I want to cancel or that they have received my email!

why they just can't add it manually, i don't know.

The Purchase miles scheme isn't run by VS or Flying Club so this is why they cannot do anything from their end. From the VS website:

22. The purchase facility of Flying Club Miles via this Miles Booster offer through VAA is operated on behalf of VAA by Points International Ltd. and any information provided is entered into the Points International system.

today I rang again as I had no confirmation from the emails I sent to cancel my boosters.

I was told that they had no offer on for boosted miles just purchased miles. so I had to explain they did.

I was told today that if I cancelled I could not then reboost the flight. so I can not have my bonus miles,

so I don't get my extra 5000 miles
