If a flight isn't full, it isn't unusual for all or part of the economy section of the bubble to be closed and the passengers moved downstairs to ensure the aircraft is balanced.

Once OLCI opens at T-24, responsibility for handling seating arrangements passes to the ground team at the airport. If you get there nice and early tomorrow, there's every likelihood they'll be able to move you so you can sit together somewhere.
