I've noticed that on my FC account, a whopping 4 miles have been posted from "shopping miles purchase transaction". :w I presume this was from shops away, but apart from 2 transactions from John Lewis from which I am expecting circa 6000 miles (been buying white goods for the new kitchen), I don't recall anything else that's done via the shops away portal/toolbar.

Does any of you have experience with Shops Away? I know that the T&Cs say it takes up to 50 days to get posted, but what's the typical time lag? And is there anyway of finding out what the 4 miles related to?

Thanks y)

If you follow the licks on the VS site to online shopping there is then a link at the top that says my shopping history. That should show you.

You should be able to access your shopping transaction history via the shops away website. it should tell you there what the miles are from.

As Shops Away runs on the affiliate network, it can take anything upto 6-12 months for the transaction to be approved and to be 'paid'. Shops Away uses the same systems all the various cashback websites (quidco, topcashback etc) use and it's down to the retailer how long it takes them to pay the affiliate which then filters back down to you (as miles in the case of Shops Away). Some retailers are better/quicker at paying than others.

Thank you both! It all makes sense now. Apparently I got 4 miles via the shops away toolbar a few months ago, and it's good to see that my miles from the John Lewis shop has tracked and is pending.

I use Shops Away a fair amount and the miles never post quickly. I find the average wait time is 4-8 weeks. I bought something from John Lewis on the 6th January and the miles were credited to my FC account on the 25th February. Some places, like Expedia, generally only credit the miles after the trip has taken place.
