Little Red check in

Hi everyone,

Was just wondering if anyone had taken the 6.55am departure from Manchester to Heathrow on Little Red and knows what time check in opens? The information from Virgin says 2 hours before but does anyone have any recent experience of them opening any earlier? I just like to be early but would rather not have to sit in the check in hall!

Used this flight on August 26th and check in opened at5am. We arrived about 4.45 & there was a queue already but it moved quickly once check in opened. Security was busy but ok.

I assume you've got luggage to drop off? If not there's no need to visit check-in at all if you print your own boarding pass or have it on your phone - just go straight through security.

Otherwise as mentioned above it's 2 hours before departure (which in practice seems to mean the staff begin wandering over to the desks from wherever they're based at T-2 hours. It then takes them another 5-10 mins to actually open up).
