Someone did that to me on a VS 747 upstairs in Y....A pair of bare feet appeared on the shelf bit by the window right by my arm. I suddenly remembered something I needed to get out of the baggage stowage but that still didn't put her off, they reappeared as soon as I shut it!

Still that wasn't as bad as the person behind me on one flight who took his shoes off and had very smelly feet, or even the worst which was when the guy in front of me (again on a 747 upstairs in Y) had the most horrendous BO when he boarded the plane. Every time he moved I got a nose full. I ended up spending most of the flight by the galley talking to the CC. Someone on the other side of the plane told me they could smell it there.

ooh matron! How very dare they? An airplane is not the place for bare feet, stripping to the waist or even playing with one's self whilst pretending to be asleep. :0 v( v( Ooh I've come over all unnecessary at the thought.

MrsPJH's 35 years in teaching primary school has, she says, taught her that almost every small boy's default "what to do with my hands" is to shove them down their pants.

Please do not get me started on sock less feet, again.

I had a very similar conversation with the FSM and a couple of v-flyers, on VS009, a couple of days ago, and remarked that that was why I always p**s on the floors of the lavatories.

Ah, that was you :) That's why I always change into the socks in the amenity "kit".

I think the worst for me was the elderly gentleman on a flight from JNB to LHR who was obviously a chain smoker and whose clothes positively reeked of cigarette smoke and tobacco. It made me so nauseous that I had to request a seat change on board. :$
