T'was wandering round London last Thursday and suddenly spotted this in the lobby of a screening room and bar on Poland Street (opposite Yo! sushi :D)

Image

Not sure about the chairs, but as they're red I'm thinking are they really old UC or Club Orlando seats?
Also, is the pattern on the wall exactly that of the Clubhouse stationary? Looks like it to me.

The wonders of camera phones [y]

Sorry to be totally thick, or maybe out of touch with youth culture, but what's a screening room? I have all sorts of images running around in my head involving TV's watched by men in dirty rain coats, and I hope to God my imagination is failing me.

It usually means a small private cinema which is often available for hire. We used to have one at our offices but replaced it with three boring meeting rooms... until you have played GranTurismo on a cinema screen with Dolby noise you haven't lived. :)

Amateurs - you need to block off 4 very large meeting rooms and play Halo in groups of four per room against the others....

... and then finding the token student in the team to run along and collect the pizza order!

Thanks,
Richard

They look like the UC seats on the old 200s operating the LGW routes in late 90s. Was our first taste of UC..

How things have changed! They look so dated.
Wondering if the design of the birds is simply some image house graphic then..
