Exciting new about the new LAX clubhouse but not so good in the short-term.
Just checked in at LAX and they said that until the new Clubhouse is complete some time next year, we have to use the Virgin America loft in terminal 3 then be bussed in. Alternatively I can have a $25 voucher. Yes, a whole $25!
The Loft, in my opinion, isn't great. Dark, no atmosphere, dirty and no food to speak of apart from cereal, fruit and toast you can make yourself. I've been in there before and didn't have any particular desire again.
When I asked about the $25 voucher instead of using the Loft, they said I could use it in the T3 restaurants, however as there's a major refurb going on not too many restaurants are open! So what's the point?
Virgin is this the best you can do for Upper Class customers?
