Ladybird V-gast is tech. Hotels have already been mentioned for tonight!
Fingers crossed the engineers can fix her! BA and Thomas Cook both delayed too so feel slightly better. :)

Hotlips going to MAN looks like she is on time.

Oh - that got me worried for tomorrow outbound to Vegas but looks like/assuming they are delaying one of the Orlando flights as a result?

Almost certainly almost all delays get shunted into the 15.

Interestingly looks like G-VWOW is operating VS15 today.

Why would that be? Last flight of the day?

Make sure you claim that when you get home. VS will almost certainly try and wiggle out of it. If they do that then give them 7 days before action and claim via

Thanks for the website. I tried claiming after my flight was cancelled and was told to poke it. a screw had fallen off somewhere but it was not VS fault (so they say)...not sure who's it was then.

Finally got home. Had a chat with flight deck before getting off who explained the problem. Something to do with a new engine and the original coupling? G-VAST going straight to the hanger for more new bits. All crew were fantastic last night despite nearly 8hr delay. Thanks for info on claiming 600euro's, will check that out today....would come in handy as far too much money spent in Vegas!

Yes 15 is scheduled to be the final flight so almost always gets the delays, look at its on time record. n( quite often at the times we go to Orlando there is no choice because the 27 is not flying.

They, and all airlines, will try to wriggle out of it for sure, or will make a derisory goodwill gesture ahead of you pushing it - which I suggest you do not accept and stamp your foot saying "I know my rights". Please post back with what you get! :)

Slightly more complicated than the flight decks description. Lets put it this way, aircraft are only grounded with good reason. Couplings aside, she spent all night outside the hangar whilst the 787 was kept warm and dry.
