Amenity Kits

Hi All

Just wondering, what happened to the tablet case that you used to get on outbound flights? Have they been discontinued as they cost too much?

Can't answer that rob we got the small grey thing on the way out, and a plastic red container full of red stuff on the way back, socks pen, eye mask all red

Thinking about it I have not seen any for a while. The small amenity kits yes, iPad cases no.
Did it not used to be a case of daytime flights out of UK had the iPad cases and all others had the kits??
Not that I am going to get upset about not getting them

That was the case, yes. The iPad cases disappeared several months ago though - they'd certainly gone when I flew to LA in March.

Whats in this plastic red amenity kit is this even worse than the old snooze kit or bit better thanks any pics be great help

Normally now it's sort of a grey mini wallet thing, hard to explain

They were great, still use them for toiletries. I'm sure they were enhanced away.

Bring back the Ozwald Boateng amenity kits; they were attractive, useful and worth keeping.

We have had a few years of not flying and I was kind of surprised by that small grey cheap looking thing we got our last flight. What were they thinking of? I guess it was all talked about on here when they first came in but to me they are pathetic. I really can't think of a use for them. At least the shoe bags get used.
