Hi

I have Gs outbound on VS023 in April as at the time of booking there was no availability on the VS007. Whilst surfing I "happened" :w to check and now there is availability on the VS007.

So - should I see if I can change so I can get a 50% chance of a 747? :? The downside of course would be less time in the Clubhouse ....

Many thanks in advance!

Is it free, or would you pay a change fee? What type is your flight now? Can you check the seats for the other flight before moving in case there's nothing worth moving to?

I did this a couple of years ago. I rang FC, there was a fee and they talked me though what seats were available. At the moment there will be no seats pre-allocated as (until the 18th) it's more than 60 days out so the field is wide open.

Many thanks for your replies. Hubby & I have decided to stay with what we've got as there's no guarantee that we'd get the 747 - it's currently showing as a 340 if I make a dummy booking but I'll keep checking .....

I had been watching very closely ffor when VS7 was a 747 and I think with the (re)introduction of VS23 following it's brief swap to Delta metal and reinstatement at its earlier time they gave now pretty much transferred to 346s on the LAX save for high peak summer!!!

I think that's sorted it then - we'll stay on the later flight to get more Clubhouse time :D & then hopefully by the time we get through the airport to the hotel it will be early evening so we won't feel so bad about crashing out ][|)

Many thanks for your help with this

I think it's £30 now but even so I'd be happy with that if I cou,d guarantee a 747.

Many thanks again for your help.
