DL starting LHR-PHL

Daily service using a 757 with flat beds up front.

Explains where 1 of the 2 leased out LHR-MAN slots VS had is going then.

Might open up an opportunity for a few folks on here to use FC miles to another destination that wouldn't normally be available.

Looks like LHR is on the way to resembling CDG or AMS in a few years...brave from DL though given PHL will be an AA hub and with x2 BA flights daily I believe. Having said that the 757 seems to have been successful on US carriers non-LHR UK flights

Philadelphia is on my ticklist of places to visit.
Would now make a good two-centre holiday with maybe Boston...

We spent a long weekend in Philly a couple of years ago and loved it. Some of the heritage sites are, yes, re-creations but it brought history to life. And I wouldn't have missed the Liberty Bell.
