Which clubhouse is better basically? Thinking of booking a trip to NYC for a short break. I know EWR is easier to get too from NYC as the air train is there but I'd rather spend a bit more money on a cab if I have to and get a good experience, never flown out of NYC in UC only PE as never understood the point of a 7 hour flight in UC but now I do haha. Any help will be appreciated
The JFK Clubhouse has a Spa and Salon - That usually sways my decision!
JFK is the better CH.
Keep in mind that both have the AirTrain (connecting with New Jersey Transit for EWR, and Long Island Rail Road for JFK).
From NY Penn station, for example, it's about the same time (and similar cost - $15-20) to get to the VS terminals (Terminal B at EWR or Terminal 4 at JFK): 30-40 minutes.

If you're already in NYC, use JFK. While the LIRR isn't as great as NJ transit imo, the trade offs aren't worth it.
Clubhouse JFK wins - but remember that you can fly from either and that each has its merits.
Personally I would always from choice fly into ERW as its IMO a faster way to the city. JFK has some brutal lines if your unlucky and ERW seems on the whole to be a touch quieter.
You could fly into ERW then out of JFK for the better CH access?

EWR used to be far and away my favourite, easy to get through, not busy when the VS2 used to leave, and often a 747 and if not a 346.
Now it's a 333.
So JFK it is.

There's a plane at JFK, to fly you back from far away
all those dark and frantic transatlantic miles

Aren't EWR flights to be on 787s from next spring? I thought I'd read that somewhere but maybe just wishful thinking.
EWR is quieter for departures, can be busy for arrivals. EWR CH is good, but agree that JFK is better. Spa area is only small though, don't imagine something the size of the LHR CH spa area.

Hard decisions

EWR is my main airport, but I'm avoiding it in December after having flown the 333 for the first time, but will definitely be back to try the 787!
Think I'm gonna go for JFK, thanks everyone
