Hi All,

I've not been on for a while for one reason or another ...

I am now looking to book my annual pilgrimage to Sin City for Feb & I am dismayed to discover there are no VA flights to Vegas...

Have I missed something over the last few months re that route ....

I hoping this is a temporary winter thing..can anyone shed any light on this?

I've done a search in the forum & gone back a dozen or so pages but can't find anything

Very odd.
I've just done a search from London all airports to Las Vegas out on 14/2/15 back on 28/2/15
There are three flights from Heathrow but only one out of Gatwick. The LGW has no upper seats.
Coming back there are seven flights into Heathrow and none into Gatwick.
Any particular reason you want to go out of Gatwick rather than Heathrow?

The LHR flights are not direct and involve a connection.

The VS LGW flight is direct.

It is possible depending on the date that VS have cancelled some of the LAS flights due to anticipated low loads - something quite common in the winter months even to normally popular destinations.

Are you looking at BA flights. The OP was talking about VS flights (although called them VA flights which are, as you know, Virgin Australia)

You need to wait until the Virgin website populates the field itself, so if you type "London" you have to wait for the website to catch up and complete "London, (LON) GB" before submitting.

Well I did my dummy booking via Virgin Atlantic.
What made you think I was looking at BA?

Hi hope this helps.

Firstly make sure you change search from just London GB to read Gatwick, otherwise you'll get details of the Heathrow non-direct flights

Secondly Virgin Atlantic do not fly on every day direct into Las Vegas during the winter months. There are no February flights on Tuesdays and on the first three Sundays, plus on a couple of other odd days there are no flights.

Take a look at "The Toolbox" option at the top of this forum. Scroll to VS43, type in February 2015 and then click on the "search flight schedules".
It will then give you the info you want y)

The fact that you were saying there were seven flights into LHR. VS do not fly LAS-LHR, BA do.

When I did a dummy booking it was giving me DL flights to various points in the US with a connection to LAS (see my earlier post)

I didn't look hard enough. A VA search does come up with 7 flights but as others have mentioned they are not direct. Delta into New York and Virgin from there.
I now understand why the OP wants Gatwick.
I'm not a fan of multiple flights.
