LHR T3 Clubhouse access when flying Delta Business

Can anyone with knowledge or recent experience confirm/deny if you can access the LHR Clubhouse when flying Delta Business Class out of T3?

I thought access was included, as is stated of the Delta website, but have a friend who was recently refused access.

If you are flying BusinessElite on a DL/VS codeshare ex-LHR T3, then you are entitled to Clubhouse access.

That's very odd, and unfortunate, that your friend was refused access. Was he definitely in DL BusinessElite?

Wow! So, so, so wrong. That is definitely worth a complaint letter. To both DL and VS!

Mind you, the JNB CH a couple of months ago tried to refuse access to a friend of mine. They said they'd never, ever seen one of those CH passes you get for obtaining 60 TPs, which I'd given to him to use. Even though the pass says on it "can be used at the following Clubhouses LHR, JFK... JNB... etc., etc."

I suggested they phone up London, which they did, and "open sesame"...
