Preflight Phone Call

Hey all

I'm flying to LAX on VS007 on Friday on a reward seat in economy. I've just had a voicemail left on my phone saying it was a a courtesy preflight phone call. They gave me a number to return the call on but I just wondered if other people have had this call and what it is exactly about...?

Yes, it's a common practise. Usually they offer you an upgrade for a fee or try to sell extra legroom.

In fact it happened to me last week, so don't worry

I had one also - pretty much what Miss G said - and also to check if there's anything you need before flying, they ask about ESTAs as well, and so on.

In my case, I must admit, I was tempted to upgrade, then a day later was told it was three times the original price!
