Bretty -

Probably didn't make myself clear - it's nice that servers hope you enjoy your food, but that's just it - why can't they say 'enjoy your meal' or 'hope you enjoy your .....' rather than the one word 'enjoy'? That's my gripe!

grrrr i have another one!!
I really get annoyed when I have to 'register' for a website to make a one off payment or purchase when I know for a fact that I wont use that website probably ever again or certainly not for a very very long time, by which time I will have totally forgotten that I had ever registered for it grrrrrrr
why cant you just have a 'guest' checkout.

oh and one more....why is it called being 'added to your basket' when you have to pay for a parking fine?? how patronising is that? you're going ******* shopping!!! LOL

To quote a famous telly advert (am I allowed to say telly instead of TV?),
"Calm down dear" ;) Anyway, some websites, but not enough, offer a guest checkout process, but you're right, it is frustrating.

One I've noticed recently, especially during the morning and evening commute...

"People" who say "sorry" just before they barge you or try to elbow you out of the way.....it's as if they are asking for forgiveness before committing the uncivilised act!

yes that is really annoying. When some barges me I am tempted to say "sorry was I in your way?" lol

And one more from me....people who overtake you for no apparent reason? It happens to me alot (usually same car lol) this morning I was driving 47mph in a 50mph and the guy behind overtook me just as the speed limit will drop to 30mph??? huh??? I was then behind this driver for the next 10miles. so what, I ask, was the point of him over taking me? car envy? ):

On as festive theme, if I hear Cliff Richards' 'Mistletoe and Wine' again, I may self-harm.

Or see either of the John Lewis or Sainsbury Christmas adverts.
