BA world sale

I have just received an email saying the BA World Sale starts today. Expect VS to follow pretty soon y)

These fare sales always started on Boxing Day but get earlier each year. At least I can look to fly over to New York at a reasonable fare

I thought VS already had their sale on?

General consensus seems to be there aren't many bargains to be had. The only US destinations coming in at under £2k in Club World seem to be MCO, PHL and TPA. New York is £2086, more than double what they were charging in the last sale for flights over Christmas & New Year.

Although not everyone is looking to fly UC or CW especially at £2k+

BA are advertising an economy fare to New York at £399 in Feb but the cheapest VS are offering on that route is £479 ii)

However, the Florida sunshine in February travelling CW looks far more appealing y) 8D

There are some First fares in there for less than CW when I looked earlier for options to NY
