I need to book flights for May next year and can't decide whether to go for VS UC or DL BE.

Do either of the VS flights have the new UCS? If not, is the entertainment system the old style with the battered-up TVs? Have the old UCS been refreshed any time recently? I flew the old UCS to JFK and it was looking very tired and it annoyed me having no power outlets/USB ports and such an old entertainment system. Conversely, DL BE was fantastic on my transcon LAX to JFK flight earlier this year, so I will choose it for this trip unless there's a better reason to stick with VS. I assume I'll still get Clubhouse access? And Revivals access on arrival back into LHR?

Thanks for any advice!

I read on the VS Source website that the vs7 is changing on 30th April to 787-9 so should be a better experience. y)

Virgin will be operating the new 787 on the VS7 from the end of April this year.

Thanks...that would have been perfect!

Unfortunately the prices for the VS7/VS8 are so much more than the VS23/24 and DL flights.

Decisions, decisions....

How are the reviews lately on the VS23/24 UCS experience? When were these planes last refreshed?
