That is correct. There is two daily LAX flights, one DL and one VS, and in March a third daily flight will join them from VS.

Looking to create holiday plans soon and I'm keen to fly uc on this metal.

Where can I find out which routes should have 787 services (July/Aug)?

What's the ugly lump on the roof just at the front of the wings? Looks like a satellite uplink housing, at first I was thinking something for the test flight and removed afterwards but it may be for the inflight wifi.

I've searched pictures of the 787, the computer generated images and publicity photos don't seem to have it.

99% certain it is a satellite uplink housing. If you look at pictures of EK A380's (all of which have OnAir Wifi) they all have a similar housing in a similar place, just before the wings. The housing does look tiny on the huge frame of an A380 though (hardly surprising).

Arn't VS now installing the newest faster wide-band satellite WiFi system which does require a bigger dome?

scheduled to be delivered tomorrow however I think this may be pushed back further as she has only had 2 test flights so far. maybe wrong though... G-VOOH has left the paint hanger too and is awaiting her first flight. G-VZIG is about to leave assembly also.

After seeing the last few posts in this thread about VS7 going to a 789, I checked my res for Sept 2015 and, lo and behold, it has indeed been changed to a 789 from a 346. I'm so excited to try the new plane! It will only be my second time in VS UC, by my first on a 787 of any type. Super excited!

Hello. Have tried looking on Seatguru and can't find my answer. Does anyone know if and seats in Premium Ecomony (that are window seats) don't have windows?

Check out http://www.seatplans.com/airlines/virgi ... um-economy for a better overview than seatguru. I think the Virgin PE 787 being just on the forward edge of the wings all 'window'seats have windows. Not true of the Thom 787 PE - their row 7 left side allegedly does not have a window! (they are smaller and only 2 class though so much further forward)
Boeing states that the horizon is visible from all seats though not quite the same thing.
